Ready for Real Freedom? Find Out How God’s Word Can Transform Your Life!


 True Freedom 

Jesus said in John 8:32 NLT — And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. This is an incredible promise, especially if you need healing —whether the difficulty is an injury, illness, a financial hardship, a troubled relationship, or anything else.

Belief vs truth:

Harper’s Bible Dictionary includes the statement when defining truth, “God is truth.” So many believe things that are not true. Truth is something that has to be known, not just believed. I can believe a lot of things that are not true. When I was a kid, it was believed that if you ate something, you had to wait around 15 to 30 minutes before getting back into the water because if you got in sooner, you could cramp up and drown. But now we know that is not true. It was believed, but not true.

His word is truth:

So, knowing the truth is, to some degree, knowing God! We need to pray and read the Word daily so we can know the truth. True things can be proved. So we know that God is a healer. He heals, so we claim that promise. The way the truth sets us free from the bondage of sin is by our getting to know God better. How do we do that? By learning His word. That’s how we will know the truth.

So, let’s get into God’s word more, so we can really know the Truth.


Never apologize for the Word of God. 📖 Refuse to apologize for what God said! God is still on His throne. We must learn to live out our faith in these challenging times, facing peer pressure, ridicule, and moral dilemmas with confidence, knowing Jesus is with us. To stand firm, we must be deeply rooted in God’s Word. Living out our faith isn't always easy, but it is possible with God’s help!

Vincent Hill Station's Wonderful Caboose Collection - Acton, California

 Photos & Story by Ken Hulsey It’s fitting that a restaurant housed in an old train station would boast the finest collection of vintage railroad cabooses in Southern California. Located just off the Sierra Highway (California Highway 14) in Acton, Vincent Hill Station is a fine dining establishment that features live music and dancing. Interestingly, my main reason for stopping off the desert highway was not the food, but rather the impressive collection of cabooses visible from the road.

Grand Trunk Western Locomotives on the Canadian National Railway in Baton Rouge

I have to tip my hat off to the CN for not repainting all of their locomotives in their signature colors like all other railroads. I love to drive by the CN engine facilities near downtown because I never know what I'm going to see in the yard.

 I just wanted to quickly share this very powerful and inspiring message I watched yesterday by Pastor Leanne Matthesius of Awaken Church in San Diego. A Brief Stopover At The Southern California Railway Museum
