As I listened to the lyrics, I was hit by an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. It's amazing how music can transport us back to the time when we first heard a song. These moments become part of our collective memory and carry a sentimental significance that evokes cherished feelings and memories.

Every day, we Louisianians hear about new data centers being built, farmland being converted into solar farms, and plans for carbon capture facilities. If you spend any time reading comments on social media, you can see the frustration many residents feel right now. Many are confused about what is happening in our state.

Written By Ken Hulsey As our country's 250th birthday approaches, I thought that it would be interesting to put a few things into perspective. First, being old enough to have experienced our great nation's 200th birthday celebration back in 1976, I am somewhat surprised at small number of celebrations across the country. Back in 76, there was a certain sense of excitement about our nations bicentenial. Patriotic themed events and imagery were everywhere. There was a train containing our national treasures, like the Declaration of Independence and the Liberty Bell, touring the country so that every American would have a chance to see them. There was a fleet of tall (sailed) ships touring port cities. Overall, there was a sense of national pride that permeated everything. It was a truly magical time for our country.

Written by Ken Hulsey Over the past couple of weeks, I have heard a message being preached from several different pulpits, articles, and even songs. This message is that it is time for Christians to stop being silent, rise into action, and speak the truth publicly about the message of Jesus Christ and the state of society as a whole. I would also echo that it is time for Americans to speak out and openly combat the forces that want to change our nation into something that more resembles the totalitarian state of George Orwell's classic novel, 1984.

 The number one question that everybody has for me when they hear my plans is: “How can we do that, Spencer? We don’t have the money!” Let me clue you in on a little secret. We have the money…it’s just being stolen.

Making a Difference: The Call to Action for Christians In recent weeks, a recurring theme has emerged from various platforms—sermons, articles, and even popular songs. This theme resonates deeply: it is time for Christians to cease their silence and take a stand. The message is clear: we must publicly articulate the truths of Jesus Christ while confronting the troubling state of our society.  

In recent years, many citizens have voiced frustration over the growing disconnect between elected officials and their constituents. This growing chasm raises an important question: why do politicians seem to ignore the concerns of the very people they pledge to represent? A candid examination may reveal that modern politicians, often termed "highly educated stupid people," are shaped by an educational system that cultivates uniformity over critical thought.
