From My Archives: Unseen Moments with Lynda Carter That Every True Wonder Woman Fan Will Love!

I've been digging through my archives looking for interesting images to post. Since I've been writing about movies and television for well over twenty years, I have amassed a collection of hundreds of images, so weeding through all of them has been quite challenging. My main problem was simply finding a starting point.
 

After deliberating over a handful of photographs, I decided to go with these two candid photographs of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman. I was sent these by a fan after I wrote an article about the Wonder Woman television series for my original website about twenty years ago.

As the story goes, this rather resourceful fan was able to catch Lynda Carter as she returned to her trailer with her lunch during a break from filming on location somewhere in Los Angeles.

I wish that I could give credit to the fan who took these shots, but after changing computers several times over the years, I seem to have lost that information. To be honest, had I not backed up my images years ago, these images would have probably been lost also.

It is a photo of a lonely desert road in Nevada that she rendered in stark black and white. I think that the image in this form conveys a true sense of emptiness.  Terri labeled this photo 'On The Road to Vegas', a road that I have traveled down numerous times. On the road towards Las Vegas, your mind is preoccupied with thoughts of winning a jackpot at a slot machine or game table. There is an optimism that somehow Lady Luck is going to shine her grace upon you, and all your financial worries will be over. Since you are about to become rich, you can't help but fantasize about how big a house you are going to buy and what it would be like to dive into a huge pool of gold coins like Scrooge McDuck.
