Topsy Turvy Days: Finding Your Balance When Life Feels Upside Down! | Random Ramblings

Written By: Tina Martin

I read somewhere that the best way to de-stress your life is to practice the art of being unbothered. You can't control what others do or say, so my quote for today is: “I never did mind too much about the little things.” Honestly, most of what we stress about are the little things. #BreatheAndPray

Did you know that "topsy-turvy" is a technical term? Yes, it refers to when everything is upside down or when everyone is feeling ill!  Keep all four wheels on the ground and everything right side up today!

I was trying to come up with something interesting for today when I read: “You’re already blessed in so many ways. Focus on that.”

If you haven't paid attention to any of the silly, funny, or halfway insightful things I've shared over the years, please take this to heart: Don’t take the people you love for granted. Don’t wait for special occasions to gather and show your love. Celebrate every day, and don’t be embarrassed to say “I love you!” Tomorrow is not promised. If someone is important to you, make sure they know it.

If you are going to take the time to get to know someone, look to their heart and not just what you think you want to see. The heart of anything is its true story.  Be safe and be kind!

Today I needed a reminder, and I thought maybe you did too: Take up space! Be bold. Be unfiltered. Be passionate. Be unapologetic. Be unstoppable. Be YOU.
Even if nobody else understands.

Moving from Fear to Freedom: A Woman's Guide to Peace in Every Situation - Paperback –
by Grace Fox (Author)

Fear was never meant to be a part of our lives; it emerged when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, creating a rift in their connection with Him. While fear can still overwhelm us today, it’s important to remember that it doesn’t have to define our journey.

Popular speaker and author Grace Fox offers insightful guidance on how we can confront our fears and transform them into opportunities for growth. She encourages us to stop hiding from God and instead cultivate a more profound relationship with Him. This transformative process is what she refers to as "the upside of fear." When we reach out to God in our moments of distress, He responds and reveals Himself to us in unexpected ways.

In her book, each chapter focuses on different areas of life where we can find freedom from fear—whether it's our personal identity, financial concerns, worries about our children, or uncertainties about the future. This journey is not just about overcoming fear; it’s about discovering a deeper connection with God and embracing the hope that comes from trusting in Him.
