From Fire to Fear to Faith: How Jesus Restores Your Connection | Journey Church | Pastor Darrell Ingram

Have you ever been on fire for God in one season… and felt distant the next?

Through the life of Peter, we witness how someone can boldly declare Jesus as the Messiah one moment, and then struggle with fear and doubt the next. This same dynamic occurs in our own lives when we spiritually drift. Connection must be actively maintained; when we stray, fear grows louder, passion diminishes, and we often revert to what feels familiar. However, Jesus still seeks us out, asking the same question today: “Do you love me?”

Reconnection begins with honesty, humility, and taking that first step back toward Him.
