James W Greer - Journey Church - Resurrection Road | Mercies and Miracles

This Easter, Jesus wants to give mercies and miracles to us. Easter is not just about the bunny, eggs, and fun, but it's a time to celebrate Jesus's sacrifice on the cross and His promises. Jesus desires to give us what we need. The Word is full of the promises of God. We should seek to know Him more and receive more grace and peace. There is power in the promises of God. Keep the faith and do what you have been called to do.

Jesus wants to give mercy and miracles this Easter. (Matthew 28:1, TLB)

Jesus had cast 7 demons from Mary Magdalene, He had already shown her mercy and miracles. Jesus not only showed her mercy by not giving her what she deserved, but He also gave her unearned kindness and performed the miracle of casting out the 7 demons. (Mark 16:9, NKJV) Jesus wants to give you a new day and a new beginning.

Jesus wants to give you what you need, not what you want. (Matthew 28:6, TLB)

You may have Jesus as your fire insurance or death insurance, but not your life insurance. Surrender to God and enjoy the abundant life He has promised you. (John 10:10, NKJV; 1 Peter 5:7, TLB)

Learn to enjoy and celebrate what Jesus says. (Matthew 28:6, TLB)

We have God’s Word called the Bible which is full of His promises. The angels told both Marys to come to see where Jesus’ body was lying; today God is telling you to claim His promise and see your life change and His Word come true. The more you know God, the more grace and peace you have. (2 Peter 1:2-4, NKJV) The same power that raised Jesus from the grave is found in God’s precious promises.

Doing God’s will can bring joy and fear. (Matthew 28:7-10, TLB)

If you don’t override the fear, you will never be filled with the joy that’s greater than any fear. Learn to love what you do and serve others while you’re doing it. (1 Corinthians 10:31, NKJV) The fears you overcome and doing what God has called you to do will bring joy that can’t be explained.

Jesus will meet you where you are at. (Matthew 28:9-10, TLB)

Jesus is always in front and has already worked things out for your good. When you by faith begin to do what Jesus calls us to do, He not only goes before you, He meets you along the way. When you are doing what Jesus asks, you will never have anything to fear.

Jesus is waiting to meet you where you’re at.
